(i) Technical & Device Information

When you use PicShots, certain technical and device-related data may be automatically gathered to enhance functionality and security, including:

• Device type and hardware specifications
• Operating system and version
• Unique identifiers (e.g., idfa)
• Installed app version
• Network characteristics and configuration
• Crash logs and system diagnostics
• Usage Data: Details of your interactions with the App (e.g., features used, time spent, actions taken).
• Device Information: Your device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

(ii) User-Submitted Content

When you engage with app features — such as submitting feedback or processing media — we may collect:

• Media files or documents processed via the app
• App usage statistics
• Feedback, support requests, or inquiries
• Any content you deliberately submit to us

These inputs allow us to deliver tailored support, enhance functionality, and continually refine user experience.

4. Face Data

4.1 Special Notice:

When you select a photo from your Photo Library to use an AI template, the app processes the photo, including any visible face contained in it, solely to generate the result requested by you. We do not collect Face ID data or use facial images for identification, authentication, advertising, tracking, profiling, facial recognition, or any unrelated purpose.

The selected photo is securely transmitted using encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections to [like ChatGPT, Bytedance and so on], our third-party AI processing provider. The provider processes the photo solely to complete the AI-generation request. We do not sell or disclose the photo or face data to advertisers, data brokers, or other unrelated third parties.

The uploaded source photo and any visible face data are retained only for the duration of the AI-generation request. The third-party provider permanently deletes the uploaded photo immediately after the generated result is returned, or when the request fails or is cancelled. The post-processing retention period is zero days

We do not retain the uploaded source photo or generated result on its servers. A generated result is saved only to the user’s local History when the user actively chooses to save it.

4.2 We Do Not: Sell your face data. Use it for identification or surveillance purposes. Store it long-term for building a general-purpose recognition database.

4.3 Your Control: You decide which photos to submit. Processing is necessary to perform the core Service you requested.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

(i) With trusted third-party service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors, analytics) who assist us in operating the App under strict confidentiality agreements.

(ii) If required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of ourselves or others.

(iii) In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, or as needed to comply with legal obligations. User Content (like uploaded photos) processed to create your AI output is typically deleted from our servers after a short period necessary for the operation of the Service. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

7. Data Transfer

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ. We take appropriate safeguards (like standard contractual clauses) to ensure your data remains protected in such transfers.
